The FRA doesn't regulate subway systems. Furthermore, some of the first open gangway cars in the world were developed in the US.

Pic related of an experimental set ordered by the BMT in the 30s.

In the top left hand corner of Wales, you may find The Merioneth and Llantisilly Railway Traction Company, Limited, which is a long name for a short line.

There, you will also find Ivor the Engine working hard for the M&LRTCL.

First impression: "Man this guy is not the kind of breed we need in the railfan community, it's the equivalent to shitposting."
After watching a bit: "Okay, so the title of the video and this guy's obnoxious attitude tells me that someone from Amtrak is gonna tear this guy a new one for dancing around so close to the crossing. That should be fun to see"
End of the video: "Thoroughly disappointed."

His knuckle break video was kinda neat though, you don't usually catch that kind of thing on camera

One of the things about Japanese is that they often take holidays which we Australians would otherwise consider absurdly short - max 1 week, sometimes shorter.

>> No.131603

>>131600
Nips are lucky if they get one week vacation a year.

And international flights from Japan are cheaper then from 'Straya.

>> No.131606

>>131603
As I understand it, the holidays aren't a problem, it's just the length. According to my former high school teachers (various, JET teachers, freelancers, some engineering contractors etc - including one that imported a Japanese man), you got your usual 4 weeks. But to get anything more than 1 week chunks, you really had to fight for it even though it works out as the same. Beyond that, your only real strategy is to make the most of the weekends on either end of a week because to fly back to Australia would otherwise eat up a day.

Then there's that one polar bear who keeps visiting Australia every few months for week long holidays.
