Very likely to happen even though the sign does not say that you are a train if you cannot read it.

With the Waratah order, they got 626 cars (78 sets + remaining spares). And it actually wasn't enough but the government was too cheap to order the extra 20 8 car sets needed. There were a few more but a set was partly destroyed due to an acid spill on the way to China.
Also, just to be extra off topic - the Waratah's alien eyes!

So the West Coast main line between Carlisle and Glasgow is to remain closed until the end of February: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-35262669

Meanwhile, Kilmarnock continues to enjoy a "bonanza" of diverted Virgin Voyagers and freight.

This was the official train at the opening ceremony for Victoria West and Pampoenpoort on 1st May 1905. The locomotive, CGR 35 is a Cape 1st-class 4-4-0 which unfortunately doesn't feature in the engravings.

And JR Hokkaido's woes go on...

http://dat.2chan.net/r/res/665129.htm

If I retranslated Giggle Translate correctly, JRH intends to close two track maintenance depots on the Sōya Main Line (the line to Wakkanai, Japan's northernmost station) and lay off a total of twenty fitters.

In more train news, JR Kyushu has announced yet another train. This one another battery train - the 819.

Technical differences between the JR Kyushu EV-E801 which is still on order I'm not sure yet.

Perhaps the EV-801 was canned because it wasn't JR Kyushu enough for them. As you can see on the 819, even the concept art shows an overkill number of stickers.

>> No.131670

Much to my surprise, the 801 and 819 have en.wikipedia pages:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EV-E801_series
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/819_series

Both have the 817 DENCHA as parent, but the 801
will go on JR East's roster.
